Set up Saturday from 5–7:30 AM. Keep your food, layers and supplies close, so your time between loops is yours to use.

AT THE AID STATION

Water & race fuel

Water and standard ultra aid-station food are provided at base camp. Additional meal options will be announced closer to race day.

YOUR OWN SPACE

Bring a 10 × 10 canopy

Green space is available for your canopy. Bring weights or weighted buckets to secure it; stakes and camping tents are not allowed.

YOUR SUPPORT CREW

Help between loops

Your crew can help you refuel and reset after a loop and before the next start. No pacers or crew-delivered aid on the course.

AFTER DARK

Headlamp & reflective vest

Both are required from 7 PM. Bring them on race morning for the equipment check, even if your distance goal is shorter.

Keep within reach

Your water bottle or hydration pack, preferred food, spare layers, headlamp and reflective vest. Carry what you need for each loop; no supplies may be stashed on the course.

Coming with a runner?

Plan around their return each hour. For spectator access or parking arrangements, contact the race team before making plans. Dogs are not permitted at the preserve.

What equipment is required?

A headlamp and reflective vest are required from 7 p.m. Staff will check the equipment on event morning, so bring both with you at the start of the day.

What food and drinks will be available?

Water and standard ultra aid-station food will be available. Additional meal options will be announced closer to the event.

Can I have a pacer?

No. Pacers are not permitted.

When can I receive aid or crew assistance?

You may receive aid after finishing a loop and before starting the next one. You may carry your own supplies on course, but crew members or other non-runners may not deliver aid during a loop.

Do not stash or drop supplies on the course to collect later.

When and where is packet pickup?

At Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve, 2024 Lakeview Dr, Suamico.

Is there water on the course?

No. Water is available between loops at base camp. Carry any water you need while on the course.

Can I bring my dog?

No. Dogs are not permitted at Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve.

What can I set up at base camp?

There is green space for your own 10 × 10 ft canopy. Camping tents and stakes are not allowed. Weighted buckets or jugs are recommended to secure your canopy.

The published setup window is Saturday, October 9, from 5–7:30 a.m.

Registration & event information

How many runners can enter?

The field is limited to 40 participants.

Is there a runner handbook?

The handbook is being prepared. It will be shared through the registration site, email and the event’s Facebook page when available.

Can I get a refund?

Direct refunds are not available. You may transfer your entry to another runner before the published deadline. A qualifying transfer provides a refund only after the replacement runner registers and pays; fees apply.

How do I transfer my registration?

The published transfer policy allows transfers prior to October 1. Check the current policy for the applicable cutoff before arranging a transfer.

  1. Sign in to RunSignup and open My Registered Races.
  2. Find this event under upcoming races and choose Manage.
  3. Choose Transfer to another Runner, complete the required information and select Transfer for Refund.

The original participant pays a $5 transfer fee. The entry fee is refunded less the processing fee only after the replacement runner has registered and paid.
